Warradale Men’s Shed Receives Australia Day 2026 Award
This Australia Day Warradale Men’s Shed was proud to receive the award for Local Hero – Community Group.
Warradale Men’s Shed is recognised for its Intergenerational Woodwork and Storytelling Program, in recognition of its outstanding contribution to community connection, student development, and the wellbeing of older adults.
The program brings together selected students from Warragamba Public School and local seniors in a welcoming environment, where participants collaborate on woodwork projects and engage in meaningful storytelling sessions. Through these shared experiences, both age groups build genuine relationships founded on respect, curiosity, and mutual learning.
