The 2025 Intergenerational Program with Warragamba Public School
For the second year running Warradale Men’s Shed and Warragamba Public School are working together as part of an Intergenerational Program between the students and the men at the Men’s Shed.
During the first phase of this year’s project the students will be building resin serving boards over a 6-week period. So far the students have been shown how to assemble the serving boards from pre-machined pieces of wood, and have just recently poured the resin and mixed in their colour choices so every serving board is unique to the student who made it. Over the coming weeks the men will be assisting the students to finish off their serving boards by helping them sand and apply finish and also engrave some words on each board using the laser engraver at the men’s shed.
